Kaltoor Premium Wears (KPW) made a remarkable impact at the Job Fair hosted by Empowerment thru Creative Integration (ECI) Private Limited at the PUTA Hall, University of Peshawar on September 18th and 19th, 2024. The event, organized in collaboration with the UNDP, provided a platform for skilled individuals to connect with leading industry players and explore career opportunities.Ā
This event aligned closely with ECIās mission, which has, in collaboration with UNDP, successfully trained over 2,000 individuals across seven districtsāDera Ismail Khan, Tank, South Waziristan, North Waziristan, Khyber, Peshawar, and Charsadda. The training programs focused on contemporary digital skills such as web development, graphic design, digital marketing, video editing, e-commerce, blogging, and content writing. These newly trained professionals are now poised to contribute to both local and national economic growth.
KPW, renowned for promoting traditional craftsmanship with a modern touch, eagerly accepted the invitation and set up a stall at the prestigious event. Represented by M. Azhar Dawar and Miss Sumaiya Iqbal, the KPW team played an essential role in guiding students and job seekers on how to embark on entrepreneurial journeys by leveraging local craftsmanship and taking it to a global market.
KPWās representatives also discussed their mission of reviving and globalizing traditional Peshawari Chappal making and other handmade products, inspiring attendees to explore entrepreneurial ventures or engage in drop shipping. Many participants were captivated by KPWās success story of expanding their reach beyond Pakistan to countries such as Malaysia, Bangladesh, Germany, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, while maintaining a strong commitment to supporting local artisans.
Throughout the event, KPW collected numerous resumes and inspired many attendees to explore new ventures. The guidance provided by M. Azhar Dawar and Miss Sumaiya Iqbal left a lasting impression on aspiring entrepreneurs, particularly those interested in startups and drop shipping.
